Changing the World -- The Youth Group talks to the congregation about its sleep over in cardboard boxes on the church grounds to raise money for World Vision. Over the last 11 years, the local group of young people has raised more than $10,000 in famine relief. Above, Ashley Reese talks about the group and their prayer concerns during the night. Easter Sunrise -- Over 100 people turned out for the sunrise worship at the North Kingstown Town Beach, and were greeted by warmer temperatures, but foggy skies which blocked the view of the sunrise. A breakfast followed at the church before worship at 8 AM and 10 AM. PHOTOS

Rebuilding homes and lives -- Dick Garland was in Louisiana for one week of mission work, helping to rebuild homes of hurricane victims who had no insurance. Support the North Kingstown Food Pantry -- The need is every day in our community and greater than ever during these tough economic times. Drop off your non-perishable food items at the Food Pantry, located inside North Kingstown United Methodist Church or bring your donations to the church office. A supermarket cart is in the Narthex to receive donations after every Sunday worship. Cash donations made out to the NK Food Pantry are also accepted. MORE
