Rebuilding homes and lives --
Dick Garland was in Louisiana for one week of mission
work, helping to rebuild homes of hurricane victims who had no
insurance. Read his daily reports from Louisiana: "As
we come to the end of our week of work, there is a poignancy in
the air, seasoned with gratitude. Mitch and John have said their
thank you’s. And we express our gratitude for the privilege to
serve. And then we part.

Support the North Kingstown Food Pantry --
The need is every day in our community and
greater than ever during these tough economic times. Drop off your
non-perishable food items at the Food Pantry, located inside North
Kingstown United Methodist Church or bring your donations to the church
office. A supermarket cart is in the Narthex to receive donations after
every Sunday worship. Cash donations made out to the NK Food Pantry
are also accepted. MORE
