Dear
NKUMC Friends of Habitat,
A few pictures to keep you up to date on what is going
on in Charlestown!
I was there this morning as a representative of the
Habitat Board of Directors to sign in the volunteers and
to offer the morning prayer before we start work. It was
such a nice day that I decided to stay on and work for a
while. All I had to do was to fill out a volunteer sheet
and get to work. If any of you want to work at the site
it is a good idea to call the office and check whether
there is room since they have a limit of 25 on the site
at any one time. The number is 213-6711. I am leaving
copies of the Volunteer Packet on the table in the
Narthex tomorrow.
As you can see [from photo above, right] the house is
really taking shape. Inside we were putting up walls and
cutting foam insulation to fit behind the shower.

Lynn Abbott is recruiting groups to provide lunches. Our
men are catering on February 9th! Sure was good to have
a nice sandwich, drink, fruit and cookie when we broke
for lunch today! Lynn's number is 885-4932.
Wakefield Baptist Church is putting on a fundraising
breakfast on February 16th. Details on

attending.
