Pastor Lori worships with congregation as she recovers from cancer surgery; The Rev. Linda Shevlin is guest preacher

The congregation was inspired by Pastor Lori's visit following cancer surgery. Photo at left, Lori is served Holy Communion as she worshipped at the back of the church with the ushers during services Sunday, October 3, 2010. She continues to recover but still faces radiation treatment. Lori says, "So far, the news has all been good." Pastor Linda Shevlin was the guest preacher and also inspired the congregation by telling members they have a unique opportunity to serve their pastor during her illness.

The Rev Linda Shevlin, greets the congregation after worship. Pastor Linda, who has been physically disabled for several years, told the congregation that today was the first time in years she had preached standing up.
