Advancing the Power of Prayer

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them." --Matthew 18:20

It was a simple idea that grew out of a lay speaking class called "Lay Speakers Lead Small Groups," which began on Saturday March 7, 2009. It took root the following day after Sunday worship. What if a prayer team was available to pray in partnership with those who come forward after worship? Richard Dunne took the lead and made himself available in a front pew after worship on Sunday March 8th to pray for special concerns of the members of our congregation. Several people came forward to pray with Richard. If you would like to be involved in this special ministry and become a prayer team member, let Richard know and experience the power of prayer and God's healing grace.
