Lavished in Love -- A Blessing for Bowman and
the morning after the 30-Hour Famine and Yard Sale.
Photo at right, Pastor Lori tells the congregation to keep Bowman Halstead in
their prayers as he leaves for a year of active duty with the US Army. Bowman
will be stationed at Ft. Knox, Kentucky as a drill instructor for new recruits.

The Blessing of Bowman -- Somewhere in the middle obscured by loving hands, is Bowman Halstead. Bowman was blessed by the congregation as he heads off for a year of active duty in the US Army. Bowman will be a drill instructor at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and then return to his Army Reserve unit in Rhode Island. |
Ellen Jacke announces to the congregation that Saturday's Yard Sale netted over $1,600 for worthy causes. More donations will follow from the silent auction which continues into May. She thanked the congregation for all the helping hands in making the event successful. |

The yawn says it all as a tired youth group begins to clear the church grounds of the remains of "Cardboard City" where they spent last night in their 30-Hour Famine for World Vision. |
Co-lay leader Paula Martasian and the youth group announce to the congregation $1,027 was raised in the 30-Hour Famine.
